Brigid “Jam” Blair brings to TPLS, Inc. 10 years of experience training student-athletes. Her extensive knowledge of the game and motivating techniques has led to her to become a very effective and successful coach and trainer. Her passion and focus is to motivate and encourage student-athletes to greatness while helping them to excel in life.

Jam attended the University of Maryland before transferring to Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK on a full basketball scholarship where she played shooting guard and graduated with a B.A in Psychology in 1992.

Jam has 7 years of high school coaching experience while working with her father at Largo High School in Prince George's County, Md., from 1995-2003, where she captured 5 county championships and the state championship in 1997. In 1999, foregoing a career in college coaching, Jam felt the strong pull into youth ministry and moved to Richmond to work for the U-TURN Sports Performance Academy. It was there she served with Co-Founders Mike Davis and Eric Meyer as the Director of Basketball Operations and trained well over 1,000 student-athletes. She saw over 50 athletes go on to play college basketball with Division I, II, and III opportunities.

Recognized as an exceptional player-motivator, Jam also has amassed 6 years of successful coaching experience in girl's AAU basketball having spent 2 years with the Beltway Lady Cougars program in Prince George's County, Md and 4 years with the U-TURN Warriors in Richmond, Va where her 12U team took 9th in the country in Nationals in 2006 and her 13U team placed 3rd in the State of Virginia in 2007. Most recently, that same 14U team repeated their 3rd place performance in 2008.
