Avery is currently a graduating senior at Virginia Union University where he is majoring in Entrepreneurial Management with a minor in Marketing. In his position as Marketing Director for TPLS Inc. he is primarily responsible for building strong relationships with the community and relating the organization's mission and vision. Avery also serves as a basketball trainer and team coach. He works feverishly hoping to see the full vision of the organization come to fruition.

As for his basketball experience, Avery played for Huguenot High School from 1999-2003 and also 5 combined seasons of AAU with Richmond Metro Gold and Team Richmond. While in high school, Avery was trained and mentored by Mike Davis and Jam Blair where he was taught the fundamentals of the game and experienced a dramatic change in the development of his character and relationship with God.

Avery worked as an intern for Mike Davis for approximately a year before joining TPLS, Inc. where he learned real-life applications of quality control, marketing tactics, and sports management. His development as a coach/trainer was under the leadership of Mike Davis and Jam Blair. In the process, Avery has developed greater depth in mentoring youth and built a deeper personal relationship with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
